Qianzhou Confucian Temple was founded in 1729, with an area of 4,887 square meters. The whole building is a brick and wood structure, with exquisite wood and stone carvings. It’s one of the most complete preserved ancient architectural complexes in Xiangxi region. In 2013, it was selected as a key cultural relic unit under national-level protection.
